The US-China Clean Energy Center (US-CEC) at WVU excels in development and oversight of a large and multi-disciplinary research team, across multiple organizations and internationally.  The current research activities are US-China Clean Energy Research Center Advanced Coal Technology Collaboration, Long Term Environmental and Economic Impacts of Coal Liquefaction in China, US-China Carbon Capture and Storage Development Project at WVU, and International Extension Program.

These programs are expected to contribute to the national and international discussion and development of the solutions to global energy technology and policy issues.
